What happens during a Full Body Check-up?
It is a complete body check-up. The Tata Health Sehat Premium package covers 70 parameters to help you stay on top of lifestyle disorders. It covers tests like Fasting Blood Sugar, Urine Analysis, LDL Cholesterol Thyroid Stimulating Hormone, CBC with ESR, Total Proteins, Calcium, Albumin, Iron, Vitamin B12, Vitamin D and much more.
When should I take the test?
It is important to go for a full body check-up to understand how fit you are to avoid the onset of any disease. It is good to have the checkup done for everyone over 35 years of age. It is imperative in critical diseases like Cancer where an early diagnosis can help save the patient’s life and avoid any life-threatening complications. People having a history of family illness or a history of the pre-existing disease should also consider taking the test done.

How should I prepare for the test?
For a full body check-up, one must sleep at least 6 hours properly prior to the check-up. Lack of sleep may cause abnormal results in blood pressure, heartbeat or even body temperature. Do not eat or drink at least 8-10 hours prior to the check-up. Water can be freely taken to avoid dehydration effects on blood sugar and cholesterol test. Do not consume alcohol at least 24 hours prior to the check-up. For females, avoid 7 days before or after the menstrual period.
